c'mon back to Pittsburgh! haha, jk.

There was another Hawks they reported was pulled off the ice, not Lapointe. I forgot who though. Do you remember?

Ruutu or whatever his name is

  3. BruMagnus says:

[12:40pm] Chicago source says Robert Lang has been traded.

  4. BruMagnus says:

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let my prediction of Lang to the Devils be wrong. Please don't go there. Screw you Devils! You're good enough.

    It wasn't Havalat was it?

  6. Phillysource says:

The word from Philadelphia is he is going to the Flyers for an undisclosed draft pick and AHL superstar Pat Everman. Pat Everman would be a nice enforcer for the Blackhawks and a great building block.

  7. BruMagnus says:

that would be sooo stupid for the Hawks. Lang is worth far more than that. They should ask for Jeff Carter.

  8. Archion113 says:

No gm could expect Carter for Hasbeen Lang

    On a side note…

    I love Brian Burke

  10. Iceman23 says:

From reliable sources, Lang is going to New Jersey.  TBA soon.

  11. Phillysource says:

I dont think you know who Pat Everman is. She can bench press a bulldozer while eating an Apple.

  12. Iceman23 says:

Update:  Apparently Chicago backed out on the terms of the deal just before deadline.

Kinda makes me wonder what they were.  If Gionta was anywhere in that, it makes me happy that it didn't happen.

  13. CofRED says:

So, nothing ever came of this??  There's nothing on's trade list.  Are they that far behind or was this just a rumor??

  14. BruMagnus says:

They pulled Lang off the ice because a deal was in place, but at the 11th other reneged on the deal.

Im very glad he didn't go the Devils. A few weeks ago I had an eerie prediction he would end up there and do great on their team.
