Leetch out a month.

How does one continue to look at the glass half full when it contiues to leak out the bottom? That is the question I want to put in front of so called die hard fans.

Ah Bruins fans, how many ways can the powers that be test our will? Fourteen games into the season and the Bruins have 4 overtime losses. Half full, the pens have more. In fourteen games the Bruins have given up the first goal 10 times!! Half full, they have a .500 record so they show heart. On at least 5 occations they have been down by two goals. Half full, they have lost 7 of 9 by one goal. They are scrappy.

Now, the glass has tipped completely over. Minute muncher and anyone close to a consistent defenceman/leader, Brian Leetch, sprains a MCL in his knee (ironically caused by a former Bruin who also scored the OT winner with 29 seconds left) is out approximately a month according to espn.

It has been discussed by Bruins fans and members to HTR alike that there are, to say the least, some issues on the Bruins back line. They have played .500 hockey with the likes of Zhamnov (14 games), Isbister, McEachern and Scatchard on the shelve. They are deep at forward but a lack of attention to the blueline could prove a huge mistake by Bruins brass. Never heard that before.

Bruins nation, if you havent left the building yet, could I get you to say a few prayers for Mr. Leetch and hope that we can see the light at the end of this never ending tunnel.

Half full, Zhams may skate next week vs……the Flyers.
