Lundqvist agrees to contract extension!
TSN is now confirming that Henrik Lundqvist has signed a 6 year contract extension, estimated at $6.5 million per year!
The 25-year-old and the Rangers are still working out certain details and no formal announcement is expected until Thursday at the earliest.
Lundqvist is 24-21-5 with a 2.37 GAA over his 50 games this season. For his NHL career he is 91-55-22 with a 2.32 GAA over 173 games, all with the Rangers.
