Maple Leafs Camp Cuts
The Leafs have cut goalie Scott Clemmensen, forwards Jiri Tlusty, Tony Salmelainen, Jeremy Williams, Ben Ondrus, Simon Gamache and defenceman Jay Harrison…All but Tlusty MUST clear waivers.
It’s really too bad about Tlusty – although a solid year with the Marlies can’t hurt.
Ditto for Gamache; they both played well enough to earn a roster spot; but with so many one-way contracts, NHL experience seems to have won out in Leaf-Land.
