Yes but he moved to Calgary when he was 7 months old, and his first trade request from the Thrashers was apparently to go to "A Canadian team... preferably Calgary".

Heatley also is 3rd place on the all-time Canadian World Championships goals list.

He also sucked on the World Cup team. But I don't remember him getting much ice time any ways.

I havent been big on the whole Sid The Kid ranting, but this kid is one hell of a player. Of the players you listed, I would take Crosby over Staal, Richards, Tanguay, Nash, Spezza.

I still wouldn't put Crosby on team Canada, I can think of thirteen players more worthy even after Yzerman and Lemieux.

Sakic, Staal, Spezza, Heatley, Richards, Lecavalier, Bertuzzi, Thornton, Tanguay, Nash, Smyth, Gagne, Kariya, and that's just off the top of my head.

Although this is better then I thought at first. At first I thought all this sickness was his cancer comming back. You know that your going through something tough when you can say "well at least it's not cancer again."

Gretzky wouldn't be half as good if he didn't play with the Oilers. Mario took a team of losers and made them super stars.
