This is why no one wanted to trade for Martin Havlat. It would be like signing Eric Lindros now. Always one hit away from being out half the season or longer. You cant' depend on him, and certainly can't tie up huge salary for a guy never in the lineup.

Not exactly.
I think playing for Team Sweden in the Olympics in 2002 gave him his confidence and form back. He had a good season in 01-02, got injured again the next year, and had another good season in 03-04, but since then, despite his team's overall performance, he hasn't been so good, and his +- shows that too, despite finally be on a playoff bound team to boot!
He's only been over +10 in those two years mentioned above, and +5 thrice! He's a Top 4 on few teams these days.

Ohlund didn't look good last year, but he's been really steady this year. This is a major blow to our defense. He's had a good season this year.
