Milestones around the corner.
I don’t know if any of you have tracked any of this down, but I found some of these interesting. Here are some players who are approaching some milestones this season.
– Super Mario only needs 17 more goals to become the 7th man in history to score 700 goals. 12 more and he masses Messier.
– My buddy Eddie Belfour only needs 12 more wins to move past Terry Sawchuk into 2nd place right behind Mr. Patrick Roy.
– 2 more shutouts each and Belfour and Brodeur more past Tony Esposito for 6th.
– 3 more games and Dave Andreychuk moves into 7th with 1,600.
– Sakic needs 8 more points to move into 15th.
– Domi needs 160 more penalty minutes and he moves past Dale Hunter into 2nd on the all-time list.
