MLSE Announces They Don't Want To Win A Cup

Reports from the Globe and Mail state that MLSE does not want to win another cup. The news comes with the report that John Ferguson Jr is staying put.
From Sportsnet: “John Ferguson Jr. will remain as general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs, at least for the time being.

On Wednesday afternoon the board of directors of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment approved Ferguson’s plans for the team for next season, according to the Globe and Mail.

MLSE president Richard Peddie told the paper the directors approved the plans and that Ferguson will be around for the final year of his contract.

“[Ferguson] and Paul Maurice came in and presented to the board what they wanted to do over the next year,” Peddie said. “John’s contract did not come up. He is under contract for another year. He is not going any where.”

Peddie said the board was only interested in at Wednesday’s meeting was Ferguson’s plan for developing young talent and acquiring new players through trades and free agency.

“It was a private meeting, so it really makes no sense to say any more than that,” Peddie said.”

    As if you've never mis-spelled something or used improper grammar.

    F*ck I hate when losers come on to a hockey board and correct spelling, if you want to correct spelling go to a grammar and spelling board; I'm sure there's plenty on the net.
