Satelite Hotstove said Forsberg may want to play for a Canadian team, and brought up Toronto. Just my thoughts on it…

No. They need depth, if they get Forsberg, that's it for the trade deadline, they need two forwards.

  2. wingerxxx says:

Every team that is in the playoff hunt probably wants Forsberg right now.  But until he waives his no-trade clause (which is not a sure thing), it's all just hot air.

  3. Veggetto19 says:

id like carolina to take him if he goes they can give us williams back for him and a draft pick id like that the most

Why do people keep bring up… "we're waiting to see if Forsberg will waive his no trade clause"?
Him waiving the clause would be on a team by team basis… If Philly says to him would you waive if we traded you to the moon, he can say… yes or no…

  5. flyer_fly says:

Man don't make me drool the thought of getting Williams back is enough to….too late

  6. neilios says:

Forsberg will only play for the Nucks,Red Wings, and Avs(but I dont think the Avs would want him since they are like 8 points outta playoffs spot. The 2 rumors going around for the Forsberg sweepstakes.

To Flyers-Franzen or Filippula and Williams
    To Wings-Forsberg

To flyers-Bulis,Chouinard( just for cap reasons),Grabner,Schnider, and 2nd rounder
    To Canucks-Forsberg

  7. jonnygf40 says:

Your Canucks rumors are never going to happen.  And why do you keep using the same crappy two players in all them.  A team rebuilding doesnt want Bulis or Chouinard.  And Vancouver will never part with Grabner and Schneider.

  8. vancity4life says:

well obviously cause theyre so damn ridiculous. it wouldnt take that much to land him…..hes damaged goods.

two second round picks (ours + los angeles')possibly a third 2nd if needed to convince, the flyers probably would bite on this.
chouinard (just because hes slow and we need to dump his salary)

if we were sending grabner and schneider then we would definetly be getting pitkanen, richards, or carter for a top goalie prospect and an good forward prospect. your deal won't happen, because of the retarded amount that your putting into it.

  9. vancity4life says:

that and until he solves his foot skate problems

  10. bleedingblu says:

As much as I would like to see Forsberg playing with Sundin, I pretty sure this will never happen because of the cap.

One is for sure though, Forsberg will waive his no trade clause…. it's just a matter of time.

  11. robinson19 says:

That's only because all HNIC ever talks about is the Leafs.

Man, i have seen your comments from time to time on these boards and it never ceases to amaze me.  Heres some food for thought, Lee goren, 6th round pick and the mysterious 8th round pick for Forsberg, Carter, Richards, and first round pick.  Then again, maybe we are paying TOO much there. Get your head out of the clouds, the Canucks ARE not gettin Forsberg and i pray that we dont.  Throwing out ridiculous trade ideas like this are really starting to ruin the reading level of people who actually have real ideas.  I slowly feel my iq dropping by the second.  And to second what everyone else is saying, NOONE WANTS BULIS OR CHOINARD.  If anything, im sure that bulis would command nothign more than a 4th at the VERY MOST.  Choinard on other hands if he can be dumped, he will be for a bag of pucks, or Future considerations.  Thankyou, that is all.  I may be a canuck fan, but i aint deleriouis.

hes DAMAGED GOODS for *****s sake!!!!!!

  14. vancity4life says:

and BTW my shit isnt as bad as this nhl 2007 trade….
To flyers-Bulis,Chouinard( just for cap reasons),Grabner,Schnider, and 2nd rounder
    To Canucks-Forsberg

  15. jonnygf40 says:

Actually I heard on the Team 1040 (local Vancouver radio station with Don Taylor, David Pratt and Ray Ferraro) that Nonis will only part with one 2nd round pick if needed, and NO prospects.  He's being smart and not throwing away the farm for a short term rental player.  With 5 picks in the first 3 rounds, Vancouver is looking to stock pile on some much needed prospects in this draft year.

  16. canus says:

Forsberg landing in Montreal would put Montreal back on the map. Simple and straight.
    Forsberg is a Viking warrior!
