The Predators have every intention of placing their developing prospects in the holes left by departing defensemen Greg Zanon, Greg de Vries and Ville Koistinen.

The Tennessian.com is reporting that “For the first time in franchise history the Predators stood pat at the NHL trade deadline, choosing to stick with a team that has won five straight games but has struggled offensively for large chunks of the season.”
Nashville to deal Ville Koistinen
The Tennessean is reporting that Nashville Predators Defenseman Ville Koistinen is not happy with his present situation in Nashville and wants to be traded soon.
Predators Depleted Too Much This Time
A year ago the Nashville Predators were heading into a new season with plenty of question marks after losing a large number of players. Gone were the likes of Forsberg, Kariya, Hartnell, Timonen, Upshall and Vokoun while Sullivan missed the season with injury. However the team perservered and still managed to make the playoffs giving the eventual Stanley Cup champions, the Red Wings, a run for their money.
Radulov signs with Slavat
Allhockey.ru reports that Radulov will be playing with Slavat in UFA next year [http://allhockey.ru/news/33166/]. This could be the worst turn of events ever for the city of Nashville.
