Here’s more from Eklund on this crazy rumor… (The only reason I’m posting this is because he was one if not the only guy who had rumored Samsonov signing to Montreal)

Crazy Rumor…Malkin to be traded to Montreal ???? and JP Dumont to sign also?

Another crazy rumor for Montreal… At first I thought it was a joke but apparently it isn’t and came from a good source (hockeybuzz.com), but like everyone else would be choqued if it happened.

Bonk out of Montreal?

“According to Gabriel Morency of Team 990, the Montreal Canadiens are close to trade Radek Bonk to the Washington Capitals for a draft pick that would free up cap space to sign J.P. Dumont wich they reportedly offered a 4yr/10m$ contract. And to the same Morency again, coach Carbonneau is willing to let Markov and Ryder go for more offensive and defensive help. Just rumors but i will keep you posted on this one. “

Dumont A Possibility, And That's All

We all know that J.P. Dumont is now a unrestricted free agent, the question now is what team will he decide to sign with.

Canadiens sign O'Byrne to two-year deal

The official Montreal Canadiens website as announced that defenseman Ryan O’Byrne as inked a 2 year deal.

Dumont top priority… Habs listening his offer

According to rds.ca and to Mix 99,7 FM JP Dumont priority is to play in Montreal.

From Mix 99.7 Fm : Dumont’s agent called Bob Gainey and offer a discount price (less than the arbitration award) for a 3 years contract.

Habs will lose Bouillon until november

According to RDS, the latest news for Bouillon s ongoing knee problem isn t good.

Bouillon has Surgery

According to rds.ca, Montreal Canadiens defenceman Francis Bouillon had his knee examined by a doctor after arriving in Vail, Colorado and had surgery on Wednesday. There is no official word on the extent of Boullion’s injury or how long he will be sidelined, but local reports say he could be out from four to six weeks. Bouillon made the trip to Vail after experiencing pain in his knee last week when he started skating.

Habs and Ducks Talking Trade?

With the recent injuries on the canadiens blueline of Francis Boullion who status for the start of the Montreal Canadiens’ training camp next month is still up in the air and Mark Striet.

Hab's May Be in Pain

Tsn.ca and The Montreal Gazette report that Montreals Francis Bouillon experienced pain in his knee last week when he started skating and will fly to Vail, Colorado, to be examined by a doctor.

Also reported defenceman Mark Streit is suffering from tendinitis in his knees, which may be the result of too much time on the stationary bike.

Habs have blueliner injuries

According to tsn.ca the Habs may have some trouble on the blueline to start the season as Francis Boullion, as reported earlier, will fly to Colorado to possibly have knee surgery after he experienced pain in his knee when he started skating.

The Canadiens appear to be finished retooling their roster, after signing UFA Sergei Samsonov and trading Mike Johnson during the offseason.

Bouillon to get surgery?
