FWIW, I’ve heard of a few teams calling Montreal on Galchenyuk… not convinced he’s available, but Habs listening on different guys…

Told Yakupov would welcome change of scenery. Montreal and Winnipeg among teams in mix for him. https://t.co/BoXZwKydYf

I don't think the Habs are done trading. Have more confidence in Bergevin too after tonight, indirectly hearing his thoughts on the season.

Fletcher has said he isn’t too fond of the rental market, so perhaps he’s looking to make an actual “hockey trade.” Some believe he has talked to Edmonton about forwards Nail Yakupov or injured Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. In January, he showed interest in Tampa Bay’s Jonathan Drouin.
Has Joffrey Lupul played his last game for the Maple Leafs?
Another player to keep an eye on is Tampa Bay Lightning prospect Jonathan Drouin. He’s at his home near Montreal waiting for a trade and talks have intensified in the last 24 hours. Bolts GM Steve Yzerman has been steadfast in demanding immediate help for Tampa Bay, along with a prospect or two in a deal, if Drouin is to be traded. The Senators, Rangers, Blues, Sharks and Jets are among those that have done more than kick tires on Drouin … This will be Don Sweeney’s first deadline in the GM’s chair of the Boston Bruins and he is facing a huge dilemma with winger Loui Eriksson.
As the clock ticks steadily toward Monday’s NHL trade deadline, general manager Jim Rutherford makes no bones about what’s at the top of his shopping list.
He wants a defenseman.
With Ben Lovejoy out long term with an upper-body injury, the Penguins are down to six players with meaningful NHL experience on the blue line. That almost certainly will change before the deadline.
Top non rental players to consider in trade Harmonic, Hanzal, Marcus Johansson, Kadri, RNH, Drouin, F. Anderson, Eberle, Jannik Hansen……

Here are seven non-rental players who could be on the move before the bell rings on Monday:
The average age of the Leafs’ defencemen Thursday night will be 23.4 years old, meaning GM Lou Lamoriello could be looking for blue-line help in the off-season. So, come July 1, what unrestricted free agents might help the Maple Leafs?
If Schultz and Purcell aren"t playing both getting traded. Purcell to LA or Florida. Schultz? Who knows? Tough night for Tychkowski on gm

What are the chances the Blackhawks can make a deal with the Canucks for Dan Hamhuis and Radim Vrbata?
There will be a lot of forward thinking at this year’s NHL trade deadline because there is no shortage of wingers and centres available.
But, for the market to shake loose, it seems either Winnipeg Jets captain Andrew Ladd or Boston Bruins scorer Loui Eriksson has to get moved so that the contenders can turn their attention elsewhere.
