Nylander is a good 2nd line center, not a great player.

And just because Bure, Carter, Lindros, Dunham, Nedved, Kovalev, Balckburn, Holik, and Jagr underachieved doesn’t mean Nylander will.

Strudwick isn’t much of a stay-at-home defenseman….he’s been constantly – on his +/- stats.

You have to understand booty that your opinions are insulting to the fans of the teams you’ve decided to voice your opinion about. People hate that from what i’ve come to understand.

But yeah not a bad move. Being that Nylander is a 2nd line Center, Renny can switch Lundmark and him around from 1st and 2nd line to gain some experience.

I don’t know the move looks all right.. I would have liked to see them not sign anyone but I have been saying it all along they needed a 1st line center, and this is the best way to go without rushing Lundmark to fast. Also a good way to rebuild. I don’t want to see them sign anyone else I’d like all the kids to play, build talent and give us a shot at Crosby, because with all the signings Phoenix, Pen’s, Chicago are starting to do…. Washington, Columbus and Rangers look like 3 bottom 5 teams to me.

The only season he produced consistently was his rookie season in 93 on that young gun rookie line with Tkachuk and Selanne. But with Selanne and Phil Housley and Teppo Numminen on that power play, how could you not?

You’re wrong in your conclusions of Michael Nylander because he once had the NHL’s iron man streak.

I was comparing him to Mark Recchi because Mark Recchi is a fellow iron man who once held the streak himself. It’s entirely relevant, and you’re getting asshurt because you know it’s true.
