Olli Jokinen: I DON'T WANT TO BE TRADED!
The past week has been ridiculous if you ask me. After clarifying that Alex Tanguay has not requested a trade nor has he waived his no-trade clause, somehow Olli Jokinen’s name started popping up in trade rumors rampantly.
It’s typical speculation year after year with Florida due to the teams struggles, but even G.M. and head coach Jacques Martin downplays any rumors involving Jokinen. Yes he admits to talking to a lot of teams about making a trade, but not involving Jokinen specifically. Jokinen has stated himself he doesn’t want to be traded and wants to win with Florida, but time will tell and if this teams continue to struggle, I think some other players besides Jokinen could be moved.
