Ortmeyer A Predator

In their first move of the free agency signing period, the Nashville Predators signed free agent forward Jed Ortmeyer to a two-year contract. Ortmeyer’s contract will pay him $750,000 in each year of the two-year deal.


In other news, the Columbus Blue Jackets signed defenseman Sheldon Brookbank to a one year deal, as is club policy, terms were not disclosed.

    this team shut everyone up last season by contending…….3 months later……theyre selling everyone and signing bullcrap contracts

    if this team was sold to balsillie those big names would still be there…….

    I'm going to miss him.  Absolutely no skill level whatsoever, but this is a guy you want in your lineup.  Nobody works harder, and he's a very good penalty killer and shot blocker.
