In keeping with the pattern of having every player the Flyers traded for Eric Lindros return to the fold, Baumgartner is headed for Philadelphia. All we need now is Mike Ricci, Jocelyn Thibault, and $15 million to call ourselves even.

From what I read about Jonsson he is a offensively skilled puck handler who draws comparisons to Sandis Ozolinsh and Scott Neidermeyer. He is still young and adds to the organization's depth.

But I don't like the Baumgartner signing. He has had one good year after nothing more than a journeyman-like string of seasons.

I would have preferred the Flyers go after Willie Mitchell.

Jonsson could be the next Umberger, as in drafted in the first round but not signed with the team that drafted them, then picked up by us.

good for the Flyers Nolan will be good in Philly and i hope Lars is all hes cracked up to be i hope we manage to rid ourselves of Hatcher and Rathje and mabey go after s’more speed on the back end
