Ottawa, and Tampa swaping players?

I’ve heard a rumor that Ottawa, and Tampa might make a deal.

The deal I heard goes like this

To Ottawa: Vincent Leacavilier, Dan Boyle.

To Tampa Bay: Daniel Alfredson, Wade Redden.

This kinda makes sense, because Ottawa needs scoring from people other then Dany Heatley, and Jason Spezza. Plus they would lose Redden, but still get a solid defense. So there defense wouldn’t be as good, but with players like Dan Boyle, Chris Phillips, Joe Corvo, Andre Mezoroes, etc.

Tampa would get help on defense which they need, so there defense wouldn’t be considered weak, and Alfi is not as good as Vinny no doubt, but this give Marty St Louis, and Brad Richards more responsablity, Prospal will get more action, plus Alfi can still score.

But the Sens would get the better deal, because Lecavalier is 4th in NHL scoring and is on a role, and he finally becoming the top 5 NHL he was supposed to be when he was drafted.
