waiting for offers to roll in on their two quality goalies you,ve got to be kidding me,they are both average at best well Gerber just flat out can not handle any kind of pressure whatsoever and Emery is a good back he's proving this year that last year was he was playing way over his head,the Sens are having a difficult time deciding who there number one is because they are both now playing poorly and its not going to get any better,if the Sens want the cup they had better pick up a great proven number one goalie,if you think that teams powerful now think of what thoes guys would be playing like if they had 100% confidence in there goalie.

If Ottawa is planning to trade any of the goalies.Most of the teams would try to make a perfect offer for one of them.

What playoffs were you watching last year? Sure, Emery didn't steal every game and didn't look too hot in the finals, but he stole at least one and sometimes two games per round. I agree that the Sens should hold onto both of them, but then again why would anyone take goaltending advice from a Bruins fan?

Would people stop sayin Emery stood out in the playoffs, because he didnt. He didnt steal a single game, not that he had to, but he didnt. Its like people think the only reason the Sens made it to the finals was outstanding goaltending. Thats like saying Chris Osgood was outstanding when the Wings won the cup. He did what he had to. Emery played one great month of hockey last year when the Sens were struggling, and took the job when Gerber was playin like trash.

Last year i was sayin Gerber is the better goalie, and the better team mate. You didnt hear a peep out of him last year, this year, Emery is still tryin to steal the spot light. Last year they had to put up with his crap because there was no other option, now Gerber has his form back. Emery is an average goalie, nothing special, and is a distraction on any team.

My opinion, they should keep both for now, and see how the whole season plays out, then decide from there. They have Elliot in the minors who looks like he is a solid prospect for this team, and could take the backup roll next year after a year in the minors.

Let emery have the spot light on some irrelivant team, and im sure he'll be happy.

I can guarantee you that the Sens will not make a deal with the Penguins, especially to help out their goaltending because these two teams could likely play each other in the playoffs. The Sens will not trade with the Eastern playoff contendors... especailly trading a goalie. Murray's not a retard.

I don't really see that happening. The Coyotes are not going to take on salary without dumping salary. We wanted to give them Gerber, they made us take Derek Morris... I'd expect something like that going back Toronto's way.

While I hate Eklunds garbage he is right talking to sources this morning and I can tell you right now that it won't be Gerber leaving if he wins tonight.

Also Pheonix and Toronto are talking again. Could be Tomas Kaberle rumors staring up again...................

If thats the case I would look at Ballard and Reinprecht and a 1st coming our way.

Iam hearing the Sens and Pens in a possible deal.The Pens are hurting for a goalie big time.Iam hearing a possible deal like this.

To Pens-Gerber,Corvo=6mill
To sens-Malone,Sydor, and Esposito=4mill

Not a bad trade for the Sens they will have 2mill and plus what they have now of Cap space to go pick up a big time player at the deadline.The pens get there goalie and a puck moving Dman what they need so bad besides Gonchar doing all the work from the back end.
