It's not like he couldn't have saved his own job. Ray Emery certainly has some responsibility, but it's Paddock's responsibility to appropriately disicpline his players when they act up, which he did not do. That ultimately cost him his job, more than any one player.

nobody is afaraid to play this team right now, and everybody is dumping on this team – and you are right, they may not make the playoffs.But this team is going to find its game, players like Heatley and Alfie are going to start playing like All Stars again, we are going to punish teams with our size, the PP will start clicking.One thing that always gets this team going is its PK, and it has been its bread and butter for over 10 years. The PK was excellent aginst the Flyers, and it will help us find our idenity and keep us in a game we will win. We will play a game we maybe could of lost and should not have one, the PK will win it for us, and it will turn this team around.We have a ton of heart, and no team plays better when it respects its opponents. The Sens got that respect with their brutal start last year and lost it last year when they had 9 days off and everybody was prediciting them to win the CUP, they got big heads and where demolished by a team. This won't happen this year.Watch out for this team, we will find our game and make the Cup finals again.

Bah, they played better than they have in a month tonight. Ray Emery also played his best game of the season, keeping them in the game till Redden scored on him.

There were some large and in charge checks on both sides tonight, and it was fun to watch. (As if I would order a PPV, Proxy + Yahoo ftw) Alfie and Heater were not going on all cylinders, but everyone else played with fire.

I never actually saw the alleged butt-end by Spezza. He should have just skated away as soon as soon as he was pushed, instead of buy-in to the Flyers brand of bully hockey.

Finally, props to Mike Fisher for laying a beatdown on Steve Downie while Dean McAmmond watched. Tho, I would have been more impressed if he actually took his helmet off...>_>

Another loss tonight, this time to Philly.

Only 1 goal in the last 3 games....15 losses in the past 22 games....something's definitely wrong with this team.

The Sens are very fortunate they won all those games in October/November, otherwise they'd be in serious danger of missing the playoffs. I'm not saying that to rub it in.....I'm dead serious.
