Bad Habits Forming?

More “Post-It Notes”, but I promise not to bait Red Wings fans (yet)…

Isles cost cutting to begin

http://www.nypost.com/sports/islanders/4088.htm

According to the Post (not Brooks) and other sources, due to the lagging attendance this year, the Isles will be looking to cut some salary. It has been rumored that either Hamrlik or Parrish would be the one to go, but as I have said before, that would be a shock.

Rocks Rumors: Anaheim, Philidelphia, San Jose, Montreal and Atlanta want Comrie.

According to many reports, these 5 teams all want comrie really badly. Atlanta has been in the running for a while, but a few teams have recently shown interest, and offered some interesting deals.

What the Hell is Wrong in Dallas?

The losses keep piling up, and the offence is nowhere to be seen lately. 1 goal in the past 6 periods, losing 3-0 to the Rangers, then 4-1 to the Isles two nights later.

Jagr coming to Montreal?

Jody Vance of Sportsnet was reporting a couple of nights ago the Habs GM Bob Gainey was planning on hauling Jaromir Jagr to Montreal for Koivu and Brisebois. I can hardly see this happening, and as a Habs fan, I am rather skeptical that this trade would help…
