Penguins find solution to need for depth at Center.
It looks as if the Penguins have found their solution to the center position. And it’s the same solution they found back in 1984.http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/05272/579621.stm
It appears as if Mario will center a line with sniper Ziggy Palffy on his right, and power-forward Ryan Malone on his left. This line clicked instantly in their 7-2 win over Columbus, and were on the ice for all but one of those 7 goals.
It also looks like the “other line” (as coach Olczyk will not declare one the “1st” line over the other) will be Crosby flanked by Leclair and Recchi. That line worked well in training camp and seems to be a lock to start the season as the other top line.
