Philadelphia Eyes Swiss Prospect Romy
According to yesterday’s edition of Swiss newspaper Le Matin, the Philadelphia Flyers are about to tender a two-way contract offer to 21-year-old Swiss prospect Kevin Romy.
Romy, drafted by Philadelphia in the 4th round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, plays for defending champion HC Lugano in the Swiss Nationalliga.
Typical of most Swiss-trained players, Romy is solid defensively and an above-average skater but somewhat limited offensively against top competition.
