I suppose because LeClair uses his size, he can't possible be gritty. Like Bertuzzi doesn't use his size. I don't know how anyone can SAY LeClair isn't gritty(I can see an arguement for Recchi), That guy takes a beating in front of the net as well as anyone in the NHL, and he always gets his hands dirty behind the net.

niittymaki is a beastly mother.. and about burke’s rebounds.. holy shit, i piss myself everytime i see that puck fly off his pads.. why does he start 6 games in a row after losing 3 in a row? (not counting against atlanta, which by the way.. 4 goals agaist and a win dont go together very often)

I am ready for NIITTYMAKI HOCKEY……..Sean Burke looks no better then he did during his first tour of duty. He looks Old Slow and makes me want to puke every time I think about hockey, not to mention the rebounds he gives up, unreal……..

when you look at grit, you say nolan, shanahan, bertuzzi, tkachuk, roenick, players who arent affraid to go behind the net and get their hands dirty.

Recchi has been playing nastier this year, but not gritty.

LeClair just uses his size and balance to knock defenders on their ass, its fun to watch.

Brashear is a goon, but he does it right, he doesnt hide like domi or barnaby would.
