Phoenix or bust

There continues to be a lot of Kyle Turris trade rumors surfacing, including some that say teams have made “significant” offers to the Phoenix Coyotes; all of which is apparently news to Phoenix GM Dave Maloney, who continues to be adamant that the Coyotes are not trading the restricted free agent who hasn’t come to terms on a new deal, and that if he plays anywhere in the NHL this season, it will be Phoenix or bust. If Turris isn’t signed by Dec. 1st, he’s not eligible to play in the NHL this season.

its been awhile since a talented  spoiled rotten brat has been made an example of. i hope he sits the whole year. 2.5 million not enough money for a guy who has 44 career points in 144 games.

i have news for you Turris your only a 1mil a year player.
your compared to gagner but i only see gags as twice the player you are. his careers numbers are 173 points in 291 games. he has averaged per year what you have in 144 games, Gags is making 2.275 mil a year. so like i said your a 1 mil player maybe 1.5.
i'm sure Turris doesnt read this but i had to vent on him. lol
just because a guy is drafted 3rd overall doesnt automatically make him worth 2.5 – 3 mil a yr. sign a 2 year 3.6 mil deal and prove yourself for 2 years. as far as i'm concerned Turris is on his way to becoming another  Alexander Daigle. just another player that wont live up to his potential.

Ha, first Wheeler, now Turris. Pull this shitty franchise out of Phoenix already.

I think the location/team he's playing for is the bigger issue here. I'm sure he'd be willing to reduce his asking price after getting out of phoenix.

Agreed, I think the only one who wanted to play in Phoenix was Bryzgalov and that is only because of the warm climate.

I hope the Coyotes let this unproven buster sit for the season, and then bury him in the minors or in Europe. I'm so sick of players holding out. Playing in the NHL (for any team) is a priviledge, not a right.

Also, move this damn Coyotes franchise already. Seattle or Portland would be a perfect location imo.

i'd play in africa for that kinda money, my guess is that yurris is a rich kid, its his parents holding out not him, i say he must be rich because what player at 22 years old holds out on a 2.5 mil deal. he already has money so i bet he wont ever have that urgengy to be a top player. and from what i hear its his work ethic that has him going back and forth from the minors. i really do hope the yotes sit him the whole year. i'm tired of this crap from a kid that doesnt realize its an honor  just playing in the nhl, in fact looking at the yotes they dont need another soft kid in the lineup. there needs to be a line drawn.

now we know theres no chance a weber or a doughty would ever be made an example of so turris is a perfect candidate. the yotes can look at a deal for brassard from clb, which would be an upgrade from turris

i actually agree with you about putting the coyotes in quebec.

if i was a quebecer i would hope for nashville 1st though lol.
but turris should sit the year and look for a contract elsewhere. 22 year old kids who turn down 2.5 mil per year deals. can go find a job somewhere else.
46 pts in 131 career games isnt even worth 1mil per year
