Montreal is interested, but unfortunately, we dont have a Lebda to send you back. 🙂

  2. TheLeafNation91 says:

Don't even know what Burke woud want off Montreal lol.

No players would improve our team.

  3. dumbassdoorman says:

    LeBlanc would be nice!!!

  4. Steven_Leafs says:

Montreal has nothing we want. I wouldn't mind Cammalleri, would be a nice improvement over Lupul, but we would have to send around 4-5M in cap space back and I would never do Lupul+Franson for Cammalleri. Montreal would have to risk it and give up their 2012 1st, which they would never do.

  5. Steven_Leafs says:

not bad, him and Eller are decent options but with Colborne ripping it up in the AHL, I'm not sure how much we need Leblanc. Although he might be more useful then Franson right now.

  6. TheLeafNation91 says:

Leblanc is an untouchable player off Montreal.

Not many high-end forward prospects on that team…And he will be a decent two-way second line Center

  7. TheLeafNation91 says:

I'm still waiting for my facebook friend request from lafleur

  8. frankinboltonleafs says:

What an inane tweet….we couldn't get a "Franson" for Franson right now. Unless he's asked to be moved, (seems a little young for that), I'd hang onto him a little longer…..he's a D injury away from being full time and getting the chance to work out his kinks.

  9. alpalstewart says:

komisarek made his name in montreal, so trade him back.

i think montreal might take him back. if theyre looking for defencemen that play defence well maybe they could use him back.
  10. mojo19 says:

Cammalleri is always hurt. He's a great player when he's healthy, but with him and Connolly on IR half the time we'd be saying "If we were healthy…" a lot.

  11. mojo19 says:

The funny thing is, Franson was the part of the trade that was really pumped up, and he's been one of the odd men out on a very deep blueline. Meanwhile Lombardi was a throw in with that deal (salary dump even), and he's worked out great.

  12. dumbassdoorman says:

I spent the late 80's saying that….lol….cause of Wendel

  13. dumbassdoorman says:

I am in noway saying Burke wont trade franson, as every player could be traded. However I don't see him moving him, without giving him the chance to show what he has. There a many variables to consider before this were to happen, such as Liles is UFA at seasons end, what if he doesn't stay? I would think that until that uncertainty is cleared up he stays.

  14. mojo19 says:

Wendel, Tom Fergus wore the 'A' and was always hurt….

  15. mojo19 says:

I kind of miss Keith Aulie too. Even though our D has been really solid this year, there's got to be a way to get Aulie back in the fold, he's a really good young d-man.

  16. mojo19 says:

    Franson, Komisarek, MacArthur ($8.5 million)
    Cammalleri, Gill, 4th ($8.25 million)

  17. dumbassdoorman says:

Ya, I agree completely with you on Aulie. I think it wasn't so much him as the flexability his contract offered. I am not a Komi hater, i think there are still things he brings to the table for this team, that being said I wanna see him sit or moved. Even try him on the forth line as a winger, I mean WTF is there to lose by trying, right? That way a spot is opened up for another young dman to play. Sooner or later though something has to give.

  18. dumbassdoorman says:

Actually a very realistic propsal, I just don't see MTl trading Gill. Not becuase he awesome, but he is Subban's Blankie….lol.

  19. dumbassdoorman says:

Ya, but I liked Wendel better, lol. I actually remember when they traded for him.

  20. mojo19 says:

I just did it because if we're moving 2 d-men I would want at least to bring 1 back, plus it balanced out the salary.

And ya, Gill has been pretty steady for Montreal over the last couple of seasons. Still he's not irreplaceable, and you'd have to think they'd be better off depth wise with Komisarek and Franson. Then if Campoli came back from injury a very thin blueline would suddenly be half-decent. The downgrade of Camo to MacArthur isn't huge and would be worth it for the Habs, and the upgrade would be equally enticing for the Leafs.

  21. dumbassdoorman says:

Oh I know he is't all that and a bag of tricks too, i was more thinking they would wanna protect PK, I should have siad maybe replace him with a diff dman. I think the Cami idea is kinda ironic, as people like to say if he has signed here we would not have"had to trade for Kessel". Though most seem to be liking that trade a lot more these days.

  22. dumbassdoorman says:

Is it just me or is there a lack of "likes" for HTR on FB? lol

  23. frankinboltonleafs says:

Realistic maybe….but you'd have to think both Gill and Komisarek would rather be stabbed in the eye than go back to their old teams….the video of their reactions to said trade would be priceless!

  24. crawfordg-leafs says:

How about Komosarik, Franson, Zigomanis, Mueller, Caputi, and (Connolly, Lombardi or Boyce) for Pacoretty, Cammelleri, a prospect and a 2nd round pick? Boyce is ripping up the AHL while Connolly, Lombardi and Zigomanis all are 30 year old 2nd line types. The Habs get defense, 2 young good skating big forward prospects, some offense and a good face-off guy while the Leafs get a big forward, some dependible but fragile offense and prospects. If the Habs want a couple of NHL ready Dmen they could look at Holzer or Mikus rather than Franson and substitute something else for rather than Pacoretty or Camelleri? The leafs have amazing number of good prospects in the AHL.

  25. crawfordg-leafs says:

My mistake my earlier comment should have been Crabbe not Boyce. Boyce is a 3rd or 4th line player.

  26. trademan says:

i just started this a few days ago. I think that it will pick up.

  27. lafleur10 says:

i think you should put the crack pipe down!!! cammalleri and pacioretty for that junk! not in this life time!! ! pacioretty is developing into a 30 goal man is 63 200 pound powerforward i think he could score 40 in a season! cammalleri is still a very good player and a 30 goal man if he stays healthy!

  28. dumbassdoorman says:

lmao…….love the way you put that

  29. mojo19 says:

For once I agree with Lafleur. Mueller, Caputi, Zigomanis, these guys are all over the AHL and could be had for nothing, throw as many of them together as you want it doesn't amount to any kind of significant trade value. You could trade them for similar players back from another organizations farm team, but that's about it.
