Corson is a great player and a nice guy, the fans love him (ok maybe not the ones in Toronto, but those guys suck anyway). I mean the OILERS fans! Getting Shayne back would be great! But he won’t be waived, not Shayne Corson.

Maybe Reichel, who might want to leave the NHL and return to Europe. Jackman and Belak are also possibilities. Forget about Tucker, Green and Hoglund, they are complete players and Tucker has knocked on Superstar’s door last season. Green is an important player and fan favorite (at least he was in Phoenix) and Hoglund is a talented 2nd/3rd line winger. Lumme and Berg… No. Lumme is not as good as he has been earlier in his career, but still has skills that make him more than a reserve defenceman. Berg is young and they will try getting more out of him.

Then what happens if one of those guys get’s hurt??? You have to have 5 centres that can play. I would get rid of Reichel too, but they need him unfortunatly. That’s why he’s stayed there all year.

you started it by asking why nobody posts articles about the oilers….now that’s a comment that doesn’t make ANY sense…who the hell would waste their time…aside from multi-billionnaire comrie, there’s nothing good in edmonton now that anson is gone…at least you won’t have to worry about comrie ever leaving your team for monetary reasons…i’m sure he’ll inherit enough
