Quick Leafs update

Kadri assigned to Marlies and Connolly is inching closer to return. Told he’s doubtful for tomorrow, but could play after that.

3-1 already for the Bruins. This is only the begining. The Beasts of the Easts are only getting warmed up. HAHAHAHAHA

  2. mojo19 says:

After a slow start Matt Frattin has really come on strong tonight. He's looking amazing, could get the goal. Kadri has been outstanding tonight; lots of hits, physical play, great hands, very shifty, drawn 2 penalties, making great passes.

  3. LeafFansAreGay says:

I apologize to laffs fans. I predicted the game would end 6-1 for the Bruins. It ended 6-2 instead.

The mistake happened because I thought Armstrong and MacArther was gonna play. I didn't know they were changing the line up.

This won't happen again. I'll get the next Bruins-Laffs game right.

  4. Boston_Bruins says:

Haha you jinxed it. He looked great tonight.

  5. Boston_Bruins says:

About time the Bruins showed up. Outside of the end of the second you can't ask for a more solid effort, all around.

looks like bragging rights go to me for tonights draft. lol

I don't understand why Leafs media are making the Boston win so significant?

And why Seguin's performance is being compared to Kessel's?

The Leafs were playing their third game in four nights, had to endure travel after a long night verus a Bruins team that were obviously in need of a win after a dreadful game against Carolina.

No sure…but 1+1 equals Bruins win.

Now, I'm not giving excuses, but lets be serious, the Leafs were flat the whole game and rarely had energy…This was also an extremely improtant divisional game for then. Would a non-exhuatsed team really come out that flat? They would atleast put a bit of a fight.

Leafs media need to chillax. Don't kill their confidence.

  8. hockey_lover says:

It goes both ways.  Leafs media is pretty quick to be all “wow, this team is so greatly improved and are going to be a tough team all year” when they start the season 3-0. And like you said, they are quick to be “booo we lost to the bruins. blow up the season.”    Leafs media is ridiculously knee jerk reaction to the smallest thing. Its insane. I dont know how you Leafs fans deal with it, let alone read it.

3 games in 4 nights with lots of travel isnt ideal but it happens. The Pens have played 9 games in 15 days (with a back to back) and two trips out west (without some of their big horses). Most teams have played 6 games, including the Leafs, in 15 days.

One thing I would like to mention … Im absolutely loving the fact that Kessel was a bit cheesed off after the game because the Boston fans are still booing him. I find it amusing because he plays for a team with a fanbase that STILL boos Alfredsson (or Spezza maybe? dont remember) 7 or 8 years later for “the fake stick in the crowd incident.”  Awesome. Kessel is a really good player and is having a ridiculous start to the season but if he is going to get his panties all bunched up over his former teams fans booing him? Time to man up sweet pants.

  9. mojo19 says:

Don't say "Chillax" only 45 year old women use that phrase now.

  10. mojo19 says:

Hockey_lover, you have been misinformed. We've continued to boo Alfredsson ever since the dirty hit from behind that took Tucker out of the playoffs in 2002. The stick throwing incident was long after the fact, and he was already getting the boo's by that point, it didn't change it either way.

Now you know better. I know you're not a Leafs fan so no worries.

  11. hockey_lover says:

Oh ok .. fair enough. My bad. Altho, that just makes my point even worse. Its not 7 or 8 years they are booing him …. its 10 going on 11.

Btw my point isnt a shot at Leafs fans. I say boo the bugger until he retires and then some more after. I say Canucks fans can boo Luongo on every save. I have no issue with it. My point was really just making fun of Kessel for being a bit of a baby.

  12. hockey_lover says:

lol  Betty White also says it. She's almost double 45 😛

  13. mojo19 says:

Ya I know, I strayed away from your point. It was a distraction technique to take the heat off my boy Phil.

  14. mojo19 says:

ya, see there you go. Its funny when you see losers saying "chillax" and then maybe "popping it with and explosion" or doing other things that were cool 7 years ago… haha

  15. hockey_lover says:

Awww no fair. I pop it with an explosion with my son all the time. Of course, he's 7 😛  We also use booyah and crikey (despite the fact that Im not Australian) lol

  16. TheLeafNation91 says:

The terms coming back in full force.

    I guarantee.

  17. LeafsNation4Ever says:

Once again you avoid the question. I asked a simple one. Too pained to look at the standings it seems?

Your head is too far up your own ass to look at the truth.
  18. LeafFansAreGay says:

I'll ask you an easier one. Who won Thursday's game? The Bruins did 6-2. You shouldn't even be discussing hockey today.

  19. frankinboltonleafs says:

What were the final times for Orr and Rosehill? Seemed like they couldn't have played more than 4 mins each….how do you put those two in the lineup together on your 3rd game in 4 nights? I get the toughness thing, (Bruins the game before, etc), but talk about shortening your bench before the game even starts. I like Wilson but that was a brutal lineup.

  20. LeafsNation4Ever says:

Let's see. You still have failed to answered it. Why are you so butthurt over this? I've asked you a simple question and you've failed to reply again.

Yeah, I know the Bruins won. So what? Injuries to our line up. The Reiminister of Defense needed rest. Other then that, I don't give a damn. At least as a Leaf's fan I see the flaws in my team unlike you, who's just riding the band wagon over a cup win and starting to shove your ass in every other team's face. Unlike you I actually respect division rivals and other teams. So you can either start looking at the facts, or be blinded by your own arrogance.
  21. LeafFansAreGay says:

I told you the laffs will lose. It was a savage barbaric beating.

The injuries helped the laffs. I predicted 6-1 for the Bruins because I thought MacAurther and Armstrong were gonna play. The reason the laffs got the extra goal is because they were out.

For who has more points. Crappy teams do good in October. Look at last year. So what? Whats your point?  Bruins won the cup last year, but the laffs got more points early in the season.

You lose. Just switch teams and go for the Bruins. Its easier.

  22. reinjosh says:

They couldn't have waited one more game to show up? Just had to happen against the Leafs didn't it…haha

  23. mapleleafsfan says:

how does he get someone every time lol
You really think anything you say will matter? The "Beasts of the East" could finish dead last and he'd still have half the people in here's panties in a knot.
  24. mojo19 says:

I agree Frank. Putting in one or the other is cool, but both? Unneccesary. And Steckel was missing Dupuis. A major reason Steckel "lost" so many draws, is because the Bruins centers didn't try to beat him clean, they just tied him up and scrambled most of the draws, then the wingers came in to retrieve the pucks. This is where Dupuis would have been really useful.

  25. LeafFansAreGay says:

I'm not a troll. I post incredible hockey analysis. If I posted pro laffs stuff I would be more popular than coffee.

  26. reinjosh says:

Ok I'm switching teams. I'm converting to be a fan of the Beasts of the East
