Rafalski to test free agent market???
The New York Post is reporting that the devils resigning of Brian Rafalski is “no longer a slam dunk.” Rafalski has the same agent as Kimmo Timonen who was able to sign a lucrative deal with the Flyers in the past week.
The Timonen signing has complicated the situation because Rafalski earned 4.2 million dollars last season and would have most likely accepted a modest raise to stay as a Devil if they had made the offer soon after they were eliminated.
