RDS.ca: Gainey still shopping
According to RDS.ca (http://www.rds.ca/canadien/chroniques/208305.html) this afternoon, Gainey is not done shopping in the free agency. Gainey told the press he was still looking for an offensive player. He will use the remaining money ONLY if he finds the suitable player for the team. Sykora and Gagne would be 2 potential players to acquire. Gainey wants to keep at least ONE spot open for a prospect rookie to crack the line up this year. Note that on the trade market, Detroit is interested in David Aebischer and that Sheldon Souray would like to get closer to his daughter, who resides in California.
