Justice John Getliffe of the Ontario court of justice sentenced him to 30 days in jail on four theft charges.
under the perfume shop sentencing formula used in Ontario courts.
mens fragrance valued at nearly $500 from the Real Canadian Superstore on Oxford Street.
The next day, he was caught stealing two bottles of womens perfume valued at $127 from gucci perfume the Bay store at Masonville Place.
On april 18, he was caught stealing a DVD player valued at just under $40 from the Wal-Mart store on Clarke Road.
cologne for men and three containers of womens perfume from the perfume Zellers Inc. store on Commissioners Road.
all the stolen merchandise was recovered by the stores. On three occasions, Teterycz was found to have no money with him when he was caught.
Being a Leaf fan in Ottawa I can tell you this. The fans here feel that the team is more tough, and I agree with them.

However, the team is not have any additional sandpaper or Grit on it. Sure they have added some nuclear weapons to the lineup, but what grit do they have? The Sens always compare themselves to the Leafs, and if you do in this scenario, then the answer is No. End of Story.

Getting more depth and leadership is never a bad mood. People are stupid to think that Rob Ray is the saviour in Ottawa, or that he will even make a difference on the ice. Ray will play no more than 10 games, and probably none in the playoffs, but the place where he will really make a difference is in the locker room. This guy was a great leader off the ice last year. He has passion. He will do what ever it takes to win. Ray is not in Ottawa to play a lot, he is in Ottawa, as Muckler has already said, to be the leader that he was last year.

Hey Aetherial,

Good open minded post from a self-confessed leaf fan.

I think the Sens have been learning over the last few seasons what toughness is, and what it takes to go all the way.I really don't think toughness had a lot to do with their loss to NJ last year: in fact i think "toughness" had a lot to do with them coming back from being down 3-1 to force game 7.

A lot is being made of Muckler's recent moves for Simpson, and re-hiring Rob Ray: but i really think he's just addressing depth, and adding some character guys who will help as much with the mental struggle as with the physical one.The Senators don't need more scoring, but an extra d-nman was a good move, and ray will probably see very little ice time, but will be a boost for morale.

Almost every Senator fan will admit that a gritty winger with enough skill to play on the first two lines would be a great addition, and i think that's the only thing left on Muckler's shopping list, but it's also a tall order, and about the only guy who fits the bill is Edmonton's Ryan Smyth.Ottawa has some good young talen that they could part with, if the oilers get to the point where the playoffs are a non possibility, and they're wanting to lower their salary.Smyth, Smith and Salo are the only highly paid guys they have, and i really see all of them being moved by the deadline, unless Edmonton goes on one hell of a tear and gets back in contention (currently 7 points back of 8th) Salo will be the hardest sell, but maybe we'll see him as a Ranger, or a backup in Colorado?

What they'll want back is cheap talent and or prospects. The best Ottawa has to offer is Patrick Eaves, who should be ready to play next year maybe.Eaves, a defense prospect and a pick ought to fetch Smyth, and although it will once again break the hearts of Edmonton's faithful fans, it will be less so than losing their team, which would have happened if they hadn't kept up the process of salary reduction ( see weight, cujo, arnott , carter, ninnima etc..).Keep all those guys and they'd have won a cup by now..unfortunately it would have been as the Portland Oilers.

I digress..Smyth would be the perfect fit in Ottawa, and we have what it takes to get him.

But i think the Sens are "tough" enough, and will prove it in the playoffs.

When are you guys going to get over this? In recent years the flyers have blown it early in the playoffs, except 97, 00, and in some people's opinion last year. That doesnt mean that the same thing will happen. the leafs havent even been in the finals since 1967, and dont have much to brag about either. That doesnt mean they dont have just as good a chance as winning. anything is possible.

Agreed.

Good teams though win in adversity. The Leafs have done it this year (except I dunno WTF happened last night)...

I think the Flyers will overcome this and continue to be the best team in the east.
