Ok, thats it. the seasons over, hand the cup the the wings.

But seriously Kip Miller is hockeys tape worm. He leeches onto larger and stronger players and uses them to survive. Ask any Pittsburgh or Washington fan if Miller could survive without hanging onto the back of Jagrs hockey shorts and they’d laugh. We all know he will shrivel up and die being separted from his good old buddy Jagr.

Its his brother Kevin… strange signing for the Red Wings. I guess the 37 year old was playing in Europe and hasn’t played in the NHL since 2000.

  3. Lint07 says:

Strange… Yes and no, they did sign veterans Derek King and Michel Picard last year.

    I don’t think he’ll play much though.

Kevin is Kip’s older brother, but it really doesn’t matter. Kevin won’t help Detroit this year, maybe he could help the farm club though. Being a Red Wings fan or Yzerman fan, this trade really doesn’t make me excited. Because Detroit couldn’t trade Cujo for a “big name” center, they go hire another center that they could afford. Jesus, why didn’t they just call me…joking of course. Whatever….

It seems that the only one who had a good NHL career between the three brothers is Kelly. Good PK player.

Can we have our ball back?

    Couple of points:

A)Signing Kevin Miller is not waiving the white flag in the Joseph situation. He is not the player that the Wings are even envisioning on the roster.

B)Signing Miller is just that, a signing, not a trade.

C)This isn’t really a big deal. The Wings sign a few older players each summer to play in the minors and teach the kids. (See: the 2nd coming of John Odgrodnick, Randy Burridge, Jeff Bloemberg, Derek King, now Kevin Miller stint #2). Although these players have seen a whopping 12 games combined since thier late-summer additions, I don’t think that Miller is that threat to replace Fedorov. So don’t piss your pants and say Kenny is dumb….or to call you.

War Jim Rome, War Michigan Football, War Stoney and Wojo, WXYT SUCKS ASS

    I’m out

    Oops, forgot

    D) Miller is a Right Wing. Not a Center.

  9. MiD64 says:

Correct me if I’m wrong – he was an assistant of Laviollette in NYI last two seasons

  10. OldNord says:

It’s the former Capitals Kelly Miller who was/is the assistant coach.
