Roy To Retire?

TSN’s Bob McKenzie states in a recent article appearing on TSN.CA “Don’t be surprised if this is Patrick Roy’s last season in the NHL.” McKenzie in no way states that this definatly will be Roy’s last season, but says that “those who know the Colorado Avalanche stopper have been getting the impression all season that he may be close to calling it a day on arguably the greatest goaltending career in NHL history.” Roy is playing in his 19th season in the NHL, tending Goal for the Canadiens and Avalanche, helping both to pairs of Stanley Cup Championships, while amassing a vast collection of NHL trophys and records allong with a respect that is unparalleled at his position.
