Rucinsky signs with Blues is the first to report that Martin Rucinsky has signed with the Blues.

…moreThe St. Louis Blues have announced that they have reached a tentative contract agreement with forward Martin Rucinsky. The 31-year-old agreed to a 1-year deal, plus a 1-year option, believed to be worth greater than a $1.5 million offer made by the New York Rangers earlier in the week.
The Blues are expected to make a formal announcement within the next couple of days.

    The Rangers need a spark, but it aint Rucinsky, so they do not have to worry that much. What tehy do have to worry about is the fact that they will never be able to live down Bobby Holiks contract.

    I cannot believe they lost 2-1 against the Caps. They did everything but score. Solid defense, one soft PP goal by Jagr, great on face offs, out hit, out shot, out played for the most part, yet the offense can’t finish their scoring chances.

    I think Nedved just can’t stay as a LW, he has to be put back as a center.

    This means Sather will have to pull some kind of deal, good thing that his deals so far have been real solid.

    Listen I was at the Game….. Lindros sucks! This guy has something bothering him. Mess always hated Nedved. they never got along. Lindros is falling all over the Ice.

    Holik was not paid to score 30 goals…..

    Holik needs a scorer on his line…. I’m telling you now….. He doesn’t score….. Remember him in NJ … he had scoring wingers… He needs someone on his line that can put the puck in the Net……

    Either Trade him or put him on Holik’s line…..

    Barnaby is doing good so either trade him, or put him on the First line….

    Lindros didn’t do so bad, he just DID NOT SCORE!

    I was clueless as to why faggy hair Fraser missed 2,3 calls on the Rangers PP. It should have been a 5 on 3 during the PP when Lindros was cross checked in front of the net away from the play. I think the 2nd unit PP of the Rangers should have gotten a penalty too, but Fraser totally avoid to call a 5 on 3 PP tonight for both teams. I can’t stand the guy. This was the first game where i could say the ‘new rules’ aren’t called.

    I think Fraser has an ego problem.

    Fraser has almost always been a pain in the @$$. Two years ago when I had tickets to a playoff game between Dallas and Edmonton here in Dallas, he was basically the only one calling penalties against the Stars. Out of about 10 penalties towards the Stars, he had about 7 of them called. He was just on a war path that night. The crowd was just on a chant towards him before the night was over. It’s almost like he wants his name yelled out or something, ya know what I mean?

    Getting back to St. Louis;

    I don’t think they are done. I would expect with the signing of Barasso, that they are probably going to try and deal Braithwait to the Bruins for McLaren.

    This is probably the most the Bruins can get for the often injured defensemen and in light of Prongers injury it makes sense for both teams.
