that offer is kind of bad, it destroys the Leafs' reliable depth on defense and creates a bigger log jam for us with more 2nd/3rd line players. Also I cannot see the Oilers trading MPS anywhere unless they were getting a young proven top 2 defenseman.

Also, this is the worst time to move Khabibulin if they want to make the playoffs. (Hint: they do)

No thanks. I'm not really a fan of Gagner or Omark at all and while i love MPS, I love Kulemin more. Plus now isn't exactly the time for the Leafs to move him.

Not the worst proposal I have ever seen, I think it is a good start for sure. I think respective fans of each team may wanna see tweeks.

khabibulin would still be available. but i dont see the oilers giving up on it. they would likely want wscrivens and a 3rd for khabby right now. wait till deadline and it costs next to nothing. i think the bulin wall does keeo the leafs competetive though, more so than Nabokov,Turko.....etc goelies possibly available now, question is would the leafs pay scrivens and a 3rd for khabby.
