Rumors and tid bits from ESPN
The ESPN Sunday roundup reports that the Canucks are believed to be ne of the many teams interested in Mathieu Schneider. Other teams that are noted in this article that are believed to be interested in the aging defender include Montreal, Colorado, New Jersey and Buffalo.
Another tid bit from this article is that it is reported that the Buffalo Sabres have been shopping Maxim Afinogenov all season long. Obviously the Sabres have yet to find a taker for the soon to be unrestricted free agent however as the trade deadline heats up HTR believes that teams will begin to show more interest in the talented Russian.
