As much as I like him as a player….he just seemed to never get over the hump in Ottawa…allways had the potential to be a number 2 C….but just kept taking 2 steps forward and 1 step back… I'd rather have Brassard if I had to choose…tho I wouldnt be upset if we got Vermette back at the right price.

As a sens fan I would be happy to see Vermette back with the team.He as great speed and skills,responsable defensevily and wins faceoffs.He is still young and would fit perfectly with the youth movement/rebuilding process as a young veteran.
