I'm still pro taking on Komisarek - but I can guarantee you Snow is a lot more shrewd then you all think he is - remember last year when he grabbed Nabby on waivers and EVERYONE was screaming about how stupid he was doing this and classless and so on...paid off so far hasn't it?

Snow would be willing to take on Komisarek but Burke loves his American guys and I guarantee he's got an overvalue on a guy who is capable of playing top 4 minutes and potential to be a beast when he's not playing under pressure.

Burke can easily aquire help through current roster players, draft picks and more developed prospects. I would not want to trade Biggs, I think he has the potential to become the closest player to a Gary Roberts that we have in the system.

I know in the summer TheOnlyIslesFan was into the idea of getting Komisarek. Funny enough so we're a lot of people on hfboards that were Isles fans, if I remember correctly. I'm not sure if his improved play will cause the Isles to lose interest since Burke might ask for more but I think it could work.

I've grown to like him a little more but yeah I'd prefer to not have 4.5 on the bottom pairing as well.

That's my big deal with all the talk around him. I have no issue with trading him for elite talent. None at all. I gladly make that trade. However trading him because he hasn't made an impact at f*cking 21 in ludicrous. He's probably the most raw talented player in the entire organization (other than Kessel). You don't just trade those types of player because they haven't made a large impact after 44 NHL games.

I never understood that. It's a double standard with Detroit. They can do no harm with players (even though they have). Its just part of being in a high media market like Toronto I guess. Over analyzation of everything.

I know Toronto didn't deserve the win but when games are decided by 1 goal, the ref have to get it right the first time. Especially when it is that obvious. Too many games by being decided by bad calls, the refs need to be better.

I guess you kind of hope the Sabres let him walk. lol.

He's always been one of my favorites players, Burke would adore him.

However, paying him 2.5 million to 3 would be the maximum I go.

I'm also basing this on Colby getting a huge pay cut when his contract comes and Lombardi walks after next year.

Its my opinion, but I've always felt like that.

He will be a decent player, but if you can pull the trigger for a top-notch talent then I would do it 100%. He would be the player most teams would ask for.

I prefer Colborne, I like big C's, that can play a long the boards (I've seen it a lot more now then before with him, with decent speed and good hands and he will be a decent top-six option for the Leafs next season and beyond.

And like I said, we have tons of talented wingers so I don't mind trading Kadri. Good player, but would rather upgrade.
