Salo Sweden Bound
According to the Dever Post, Tommy Salo a veteran of over 500 NHL games will retire from the NHL and return to Sweden to play for MoDO of the Swedish Elite league.
Salo’s final NHL stats were, 210-225-73 with a 2.55 goals-against average.
Colorado holds a 4 million dollar option on Salos contract for this upcoming year, an option that the team was never expected to activate.
