did i say JUST three years ago? nope. that was part of your argument and im saying that that's supid to bring up. and even if you want to go by the last three years, you can go by that the leafs always do what's worst for their team: suck, but pick it up enough not to get a high pick. the worst thing for them to do this year would be to tank and give boston the pick. we'll see what happens

stamkos wasnt hyped up at all (or at least relative to most of the other first overalls). since 2004, crosby and ovechkin were on different levels than everyone, then tavares would come next, then probably johnson, then stamkos, then kane.

what "main scouting agencies" are you even talking about?

Agreed, it erks me that as a Leafs fan you sell your assets short or else you're dreaming in rose coloured glasses. Imagine Ian White coming up through the Wings organization, everyone would be saying Holland does it again. Kaberle was what? A 7th round pick, why isn't Quinn called a genius?

My beef with Wilson is our penalty kill being absolutely brutal. He has done nothing to turn our penalty kill around, it shouldnt be this bad and the coach needs to take some responsibility for this.

Well that was pretty ignorant of u....

Kaberle has a gold and silver at the World Championships and he has an Olympic bronze. I dont think it's fair mentionning the Olympics or any international accolades considering Canada wins most of those tournaments. Kaberle is easily the Czech's best defenceman.

Pronger also played on better teams then Kaberle hence the Stanley cup. Im not trying to say Kaberle is better because he is not...I just dont like ur comparison and I think it's a lil unfair.

Do yourself a favour. Look at some previous drafts and see how hit and miss a top 10 pick in the draft is. I think it will put your mind at ease.

People talk about Kaberle as if his defensive game is setting up opponents for one timer goals. He's not physical but its not like he turns the puck over or that he's weak on the puck. He's not a a defensive liability nor is he a stud in his own end.
