Seguin close to being traded to the Stars for Eriksson

The Boston Bruins and Dallas stars appear to be closing in a trade that would see two prominent players swap jerseys.

According to TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger, the clubs are close to a deal that would see Tyler Seguin heading to Dallas, with Loui Eriksson going to Boston.

TSN Hockey Insider Bob McKenzie reports that he hears the trade is a five-player deal.

Seguin has yet to begin a six-year, $34.5 million contract he signed just prior to the beginning of the lockout. The deal has an annual salary cap hit of $5.75 million and runs until the 2018-19 season.

The 21-year-old forward was selected second overall in the first round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft by the Bruins and spent the first three seasons of his NHL career with the team.”
