Sens to sign Robitaille
Randy that is.
The Sens are in negotiation with Randy Robitaille on a 1 year contract. Once Robitaille is released from his Russian Super League contract, the Sens will announce the signing.
Robitaille is a depth move to fill out a wing position on the 4th line. Sens prospects like Josh Hennesy did not impress enough in training camp to show they can play on a Cup contender. McGratton has shown he will not be a viable option come playoff time. Robitaille is fast and a hard worker, a nice compliment to a veteran 4th line that will provide leadership and hunger for a Stanley Cup.
