Several Senators could be on the go.

Bruce Garrioch is reporting that not everyone is available on the Senators roster for trade but with that being said, he is indicating that several names could be the target of teams come the March trade deadline.

It is reported that the two names who are likely to gather interest from other teams include Chris Neil and Fillip Kuba, both of which are set to be unrestricted this off season. In the case of Kuba it is noted that he must be willing to waive his no trade clause to be able to be moved and that he has been a valuable blueliner for the Sens this season.

Garrioch is only slightly better than Brooks and Eklund, why is everything he says posted on this site?

I wish for 100 years of failure for the Senators. But my faithful Leafs are much closer to that.

Cauuuuuse the Montreal media is so much better?

Spezza and SJ's first rounder to Minnesota for Mikko Koivu

That sounds like a very fair deal, except that I can not see either Lemaire or Risebrough even remotely interested in a player like Spezza.

Hey I never said the Montreal media were great, but atleast you know with them it is mostly just wishful thinking but Garrioch tries to push every rumor he comes up with like it is going to happen for sure.

Spezza sounds a lot like pizza and I get hungry when I read Sens rumors.

    To Edmonton:Spezza
    To Ottawa:Horcoff + Cogliano

    To Edmonton:Fisher
    To Ottawa:Cogliano

Edmonton appear to be interested in either of Fisher and Spezza.

Well don't forget that Scotty Bowman got Steve Yzerman to play a two way game..

  10. sensnation says:

The Senators main problem is scoring, NO WAY the Sens trade an offensively gifted if inconsisted and turnover prone forward AND a first round pick for a better two way player.

  11. habswinthecup-again says:

Koivu has more points than Spezza, playing on a much more defensive minded team, I would say koivu is pretty damn good offensively as well.

  12. habswinthecup-again says:

True but Yzerman was never near as bad defensively as Spezza.

Here is a deal that makes sense
    To: Pittsburgh Danny Heatley
To: Ottawa Jordan Staal, 1st rounder

Pittsburgh gets the goal scoring winger they desperately need and give Heatley a fresh start to the season. Ottawa starts its rebuilding mode around Jordan Staal, their 1st rounder(which could be top 5), and pittsburghs first rounder.
