Shanahan to Remain a Ranger?

Larry Brooks of the New York Post is reporting that Brendan Shanahan is wanting to play hockey again next year and has no doubts about where he wants to play, in New York as a Ranger.

It is reported that Shanahan has no interesting testing the market as a free agent and has instructed his agent to get a deal done with Glen Sather, Rangers General Manager. Shanahan believes that the Rangers have “something good going on that could turn into something pretty special.”

HTR is just amazed by how ageless some of the players are these days. Shanahan had yet another excellent season last year and he is set to turn 39 next January. Wow.
