Shanahan to the Flyers?
The Courier Post is reporting that the Flyers are showing heavy interest in veteran free agent Brendan Shanahan. The Flyers are apparently so interested that they met with Shanahan at their practice facility.
One of the things that may be holding up a possible signing is the fact that the Flyers will have to trim some salary if they want to sign him. It is believed however that Shanahan is willing to play this season for under 1 million dollars which is far less than the 4 million that he earned last season.
