    A San Jose article with more than 100 comments. Doesn't happen every day.

    97 of them were HABS vs Leafs debate.. which us Habs won Lol… just kidding Leafs no need to call me a troll…

    I don't think it ever takes a vacation, it's just partial informal cease-fire agreements that break out along the trenches once in a while.  Like the stories you read about soldiers not shooting at each other on Christmas day back in WWI!

    Anyhow this year has been a good year over all as a Habs fan with that totally unexpected magical run in the playoffs.  Add to that the amount of problems the Leafs had and Burke's habit of shooting off at the mouth and you've got yourself some prime Leafs fan baiting material, and well, you gotta make hay while the sun shines lol.  But I digress…

    I do want to see a day where the Habs and Leafs meet in the ECC for like 5 years in a row with each series going to game seven.  It's just that I also want the Habs to win all of those game sevens with at least 3 of them going to overtime and at least one of those wins coming off an iffy call or non-call – I figure you guys have gotten all you're gonna get out of the Gretzky high stick thing and you need something new to wonder "what if" about – preferably the year the Habs win with that call/non-call they win the SC in a cake walk against a really easy opponent.  Thus rubbing even more salt in wound.  Leafs fans will rage about it, and they'll be right to do so but the only response they'll get back from Habs fans is one or a combination of the following list:

    a) 30 Stanley Cups (Yes, by that point we will have 30);
    b) 30>14;
    c) 1967;
    d) 2 firsts and a second; and
    e) etc. etc.

    So as you can see, I fully hope that the Leafs some day become the second best team in the NHL, which initially you might think is pretty good for Habs fan right?…then you see the horrible dark side of that wish.

    End rant/

    Sorry… finger slipped and I didn't catch it until I posted.

    i agree with you about andre k i heard that we will qaulify pouliot on monday! i think 1 trade that could happen withn the k bros is both will be traded to the oilers for penner

  8. HABSSTAR says:

    Wow man, did you forget to take your PMS meds?

  9. lafleur10 says:

    price has definately shown he can be a starter in montreal! he has the talent to be an elite goaltender he won 50 games by the age of 22 faster than anyone at that age including luongo,brodeur,roy ,so if that tells you he can't be a starter in montreal then i don't know what does.we aren't the leafs that keep making the wrong decisions and have nothing to show for it ………like the rask trade and the kessel rape those moves will haunt the leafs for years to come

    no I said he will stay in the LA/Calif… area..

  11. TheLeafNation91 says:

    Thats why he has contimuously lost the job in MONTREAL…Halak delat with the pressure better, and the crowd loved him.

    Wonder how long before they get on him again…And comparing him to Brodeur and Roy is ridiculous…How about he has a solid season before you give him those titles. Career GAA is 2.71…Nowhere near the other 2

  12. TmLeafan says:

    ha even the oilers will not be interested in those 2 clowns.

  13. TmLeafan says:

    Yea I do not understand why you habs fans have convinced yourselves you are anything but a sub par hockey team.  And I am not even saying this because I am a Leaf fan. I am not delusional I know that without major improvements the Leafs will probably miss out on the playoffs. But I can see the Habs fighting for a playoff spot and finishing around the 7-10 range in the conference just like last year, right in there with the Leafs hovering around mediocrity.

    So basically you were just repeating shit that Cam has been saying since January.

    Also you did guarantee that he would definitely not sign in Canada which is when I called you out for claiming to be friends with his wife or some shit like that.

    Nope, I've never meet his wife… I've had the pleasure of meeting him though… I guaranted he was going to stay in SJ… I also grew up with Shea Weber, Kris Beech and I also know Cody Franson( not very well though)… I also know you didn't believe me on that on too… So if they ever let me know about some trades.. I will pass it on to you… PS Weber wants to play for the HABS.. unsure if it will ever happen though.. A little fact for you.. on his draft interview he told the Habs he wanted to play for them, but as the Habs always do, they passed on him… they f**cked up.. but I think Weber is getting tired of the Preds.. so you never know.. if I see him this summer I'll ask him..

  16. mojo19 says:

    from now on just keep this info to yourself.

  17. lafleur10 says:

    yeaaahh right and they'll be interested in the stiffs grabovsky and kulemin from the laffs!

  18. lafleur10 says:

    i know your illiterate and can't read i said he's the youngest goalie to win 50 games before the age of 22 something roy and brodeur never did1 also his gaa is better than bustavsson's and was better than giguere's

    Quit wasting your time.. how about Tinordi!!!! Finally they draft a big tough guy.. him and Subban will be a force to be reckonen with in a few years..

    If we don't make the playoffs, we'll at least get a good draft pick.. what do you guys get for not making the playoffs?? MTL is a good team because they have some good pieces ie Subban, Cammy, Gionta, Gomez, Markov, Gorges, Gill, Plekanec… I admit next year can go either way.. it all depends on Price.. if his head is on, MTL could honestly win the division.. but if he plays like he did last year, than we will be in trouble.. You have to remember they made the conference finals without Markov.. They MAYBE could've won the Philly series with him.. take Pronger out of Flyers or Keith out of Chicago and they're a different team.. I know Keith and Pronger are better players, but Markov means as much to his team as they do to their team..also MTL was able to accomplish what they did, with a roster which was over 50%new to the team, now that they have played a full season they should paly better together.. plus if Gomez, Cammy, and Gionta can stay healthy( all three missed some time to injury) they will improve.. but MTL season will rest on Price's shoulders…
