Marc Bergevin, Blackhawks’s Head Scout, has been seen following Montreal’s team since Colorado.. It seems that the Hawks are interested in Sheldon Souray since the loss of Adrian Aucoin.
Anaheim’s Scout (I can’t remember the name) also been seen in Montreal today against Philadelphia..

Huet is playing unreal as of late.
If he continues to play like this, Theo would be lucky to get another start this season. 146 mins with no goals scored on him and a team that has played great both offensive and defensive in front of him. 25 shots on net today and Philly actually had about 15-20 more that were blocked. Even the games that he lost he played solid just no offense showed up. I say keep playing him and see what happens. If this continues they Montreal would have no choice in trading Theo for whatever they can get for him.
THEO IS STAYING PUT!!!
As per TFP, GM and coach Bob Gainey has stated that Goaltender Jose Theodore will not be traded. He has said that fans can forget any and all trade rumors that they have heard.
I do not know what to think about this anymore.
On one hand, Theo is capable of being a great goalie, when he wants to. However, he has been suffering and the media and the fans have been all over him! The journal de Montreal even had him on front page with a big headline saying THEO must GO!!
Huet has been playing excellent as of late and Danis has sparkled in the minors. We could technically afford to move him. However, I am one of the ones who hopes that he gets back into the Theo of old.
The Habs will now take a look at getting a stronger defenseman or a more offensive forward(s).
