Souray trade imminent?
It’s setting up to be a big weekend for the Edmonton Oilers.
The team will pick first overall at the NHL Entry Draft in Los Angeles on Friday, a first for the franchise, but it looks like general manager Steve Tambellini could be actively looking to move players. 630 CHED’s Dan Tencer reports Oilers defenseman Sheldon Souray is on his way back to Edmonton to receive medical clearance for the wrist injury he suffered in late January.
Tambellini says he hopes to deal Souray by Saturday, with some possible destinations including Dallas or the NY Rangers.
