well i think that is pretty obvious. unless he was at the meeting itself of course it is speculation. but the meeting DID happen and he is stating that his speculation is strongly rooted in his (pretty deep) sources' comments that a meeting did take place and Sundin's NTC came up and there was a substantial, emotional debate over the issue.

some would agree with you. i think he is just one source among many and he is just looking to increase the number of hits on his site … that being said, Berger (again, grain of salt) has come out and stated that the MLSE board is considering asking sundin to waive his NTC. In any case, that last sentence pretty much sums up what is wrong with the leafs – not the idea of trading Sundin, but how much input the faceless borg, i mean, board, has in the hockey operations in Toronto.
