Actually I was also hoping Burke would have taken Saad as well but I was hoping he would have been selected with their 39th pick. I wasn't sold that he was worth using up our 1sts (even though I did think he would be taken 35th-ish). When we traded up to pick Biggs I thought we missed out on a chance to pick Rattie at 30 and Saad at 39. Heck even Jenner and Saad would have looked nice, oh well I'm ok with Biggs.

I don't know why they would offer Brandon Saad?

This guys the real deal...I was shocked and kind of upset when Burke did not take him 25th overall.

a great target for Chicago to go after but I don't know if they will want to send 2 2nd round picks the other way. Not a bad offer though.

Hes the BJs (haha) leading scorer with 7 goals, 20 assists, an upcoming UFA and is quite affordable at 2.5 million.
