Sturm to stay in Boston???
The Boston Herald is reporting that Sturm is very close to being off the trade market as he is about to sign a new contract with the Bruins.
It will be interesting to see what effect this has on clubs that are trying to swing deals with other teams. It is widely rumored that Sturm for example was one of the players that the Canucks were very interested in and now that he is about to be taken off the market it is possible that a bidding war will be started over another player.
Good for the Bruins if this is true. With that beings said HTR believes that this is the only move that the Bruins really were able to make as they were blown away in the Joe Thornton trade.
